Description

Guybrush et Elaine sont de retour de lune de miel. Malheureusement pour Guybrush, son retour sur l'île de Mélée est beaucoup plus problématique qu'il ne l'aurait souhaité. Sa femme est déclarée morte, la propriété est sur le point d'être détruite et un inconnu se propose au poste de gouverneur. Pendant ce temps-là, un entrepreneur australien du nom d'Ozzie Mandrill achète des îles dans les environs pour en faire un complexe touristique et, accessoirement, en déloger les pirates.

C'est à Guybrush de régler ces quelques déboires administratifs, ce qui l'emmènera de nouveau vers la terrible île aux singes.

3)Installé
Il vous demandera de changer de CD allé sur deamon et monté le CD2 ensuite à la fin remetté le CD1.
4)Bon jeu.

Perdu en mer, Guybrush Threepwood, le héros de la série des Monkey Island, doit encore une fois affronter son ennemi, le pirate LeChuck, cette fois-ci matérialisé par un fantôme enflammé. Après avoir donné une bague de fiançailles accidentellement vaudou à Elaine Marley, l'amour de sa vie, qui la change en une statue d'or massif. Elle ne tardera pas à disparaître, l'or est précieux pour les flibustiers... Guybrush doit donc lever le sortilège et retourner sur l'Île aux singes pour défaire LeChuck, dans des aventures des plus farfelues.

Comme dans le premier volet de la série, l'histoire de La Revanche de LeChuck se déroule dans les Caraïbes, dans un XVIe siècle fantaisiste bourré d'anachronismes. À la fin du premier épisode, Guybrush Threepwood était parvenu à éliminer le pirate fantôme LeChuck. Malheureusement, le récit de ces exploits n'émerveille plus guère les pirates endurcis du Scumm Bar, l'unique taverne de l'île de Mêlée. Pour redorer son blason (en admettant qu'il ait vraiment brillé un jour), Guybrush décide de partir à la recherche du mythique trésor du Big Whoop. LeChuck fera très vite sa réapparition pour se venger, on ne tue pas si facilement un fantôme !

L'aventure se déroule au XVIe siècle, dans les Caraïbes, sur l'île de Mêlée. La magie vaudou se mélange à la culture pirate de l'époque. L'humour est omniprésent et constitue la principale source du jeu. Il faut aussi signaler que les anachronismes abondent, et que cet état de fait se retrouve dans toute la série. Ainsi, le personnage peut avoir en sa possession un tire-agrafe ou un marshmallow. Il existe toutefois une explication à ces anachronismes, ainsi qu'à beaucoup des incohérences humoristiques du jeu.
